Job description

Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

The Maintenance Technician performs all maintenance functions, including but not limited to preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all buildings, grounds, plant machinery, and equipment.

Schedule
  • Sunday: 8:00pm - 6:00am
  • Monday - Thursday: 11:00pm - 7:30am

Compensation and Benefits

Starting Rate: $22.32 (BOE) + $1.00 shift premium

Stericycle provides benefits on Day One, one-on-one training, tools, uniforms, boots, and PPE.

Experience and Skills
  • 2+ years of experience and/or training, with the ability to identify repairs needed and ensure scheduled production runs are met.
  • Experience with the use of forklifts, aerial lifts, and various rigging equipment.
  • Experience with LOTO procedures and permit-required confined space programs related to maintenance activities.
Licenses and Competencies
  • Boiler, welding, or electrical certifications/licenses are helpful.
  • Ability to ask questions, gather information, and identify problems for repair or to coordinate repairs.
  • Ability to think critically and remain calm under stress.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Willingness to participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to resolve problems independently.
