• Diagnose electrical issues including motors, sensors, relays, contactors, and VFDs.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems and read schematics.
• Perform equipment installations, modifications and machine upgrades.
• Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders accurately.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to decrease downtime and improve productivity.
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our manufacturing team in Fairfield, OH . This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency. Candidates should possess strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $30.00/HR

Schedule: 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift

Location: Fairfield, OH

Overtime: Available

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and production machinery.

• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment and facility systems.

• Diagnose electrical issues, including motors, sensors, relays, contactors, and VFDs.

• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

• Perform equipment installations, modifications, and machine upgrades.

• Conduct welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs as needed.

• Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders accurately.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to decrease downtime and improve productivity.

• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fairfield, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
