Job summary

B.l.-Harbert-International,-LLC- is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment in our fabrication shop in Oneonta, Alabama. You will work on electrical and mechanical systems, read schematics, and ensure safe, efficient operations.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years working with overhead cranes and 3-phase power, and can diagnose and fix 3-phase electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, and related control panels.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with overhead cranes and 3 phase power.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing 3-phase electrical systems.
• Experience inspecting and maintaining overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on fabrication equipment, machinery, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including 3-phase power systems, motors, control panels, and wiring.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair overhead cranes and hoists to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
