The Senior Maintenance role leads installations, diagnoses complex issues, and mentors technicians to maximize uptime and reliability. Strong technical leadership and hands-on maintenance in a manufacturing setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in mechanical/technical field.
• Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Proficiency with MS Office, SharePoint, and computerized work order systems.

Responsibilities

• Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on plant machinery and facilities.
• Lead equipment installations, startups, upgrades, and renovations.
• Diagnose equipment failures and coordinate repairs, parts, and materials.
• Collaborate with equipment manufacturers to resolve advanced technical issues.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and maintenance documentation.
• Oversee maintenance scheduling, inventory control, and waste stream documentation.
• Train and mentor Maintenance Technicians; provide technical leadership.
• Support continuous improvement to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on plant machinery, building systems, and facilities.

Lead equipment installations, startups, upgrades, and building renovations.

Diagnose equipment failures and coordinate necessary repairs, parts, and materials.

Collaborate with equipment manufacturers to resolve advanced technical issues.

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and maintenance documentation.

Oversee maintenance scheduling, inventory control, and waste stream documentation.

Train, mentor, and provide technical leadership to lower-level Maintenance Technicians.

Support continuous improvement efforts to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

Associate degree in a mechanical or technical field, or equivalent education and experience.

Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and computerized work order systems.

Ability to learn and utilize new technologies and maintenance systems.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience in the tool and die industry.
• Experience leading, training, or mentoring maintenance technicians.
