Job summary

Conagra Brands in Louisville, KY is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the operation and maintenance of production and facility equipment at our Louisville manufacturing plant to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and partner with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain production goals.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting practices.
• Experience working with motors, conveyors, pumps, and automated systems.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Basic computer skills for work order systems and documentation.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekends as needed.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working independently and as part of a team.

• Collaborate with production teams to address downtime and improve overall equipment reliability.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures including lockout/tagout and personal protective equipment requirements.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support food safety and operational standards.

Shift: 2:00 PM-10:00 PM

Hourly Rate: $32.45 an hour + $0.75 shift differential

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will support the operation and maintenance of production and facility equipment at our Louisville manufacturing plant to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. You will troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventive maintenance, and partner with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain production goals.

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on production equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment failures and identify root causes to restore operations quickly and safely

Physical Requirements

• Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
