Reser’s Fine Foods is hiring a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift at the Topeka, KS site. This role focuses on preventative and urgent maintenance of production machinery, with a shift differential for 2nd shift and a sign-on bonus up to $3000.

The position requires 3–5 years as a multi-craft industrial technician, knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience as a multi-craft industrial technician.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and urgent maintenance of production machinery and equipment.
• Prioritize downtime issues to meet production needs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment with PLCs.
• Communicate with other departments on-site.
• Assist with installation of new equipment.
• Perform additional facilities-related duties as required.
