Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12am, Monday–Friday) at our Richmond, VA site. You will perform a variety of maintenance duties across building systems, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC to keep clinical operations running smoothly.

The role requires 3–5 years of related experience, strong communication, and the ability to follow up on tasks. A valid driver's license and experience with Building Automation Systems are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience as a maintenance worker/technician preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment and plumbing, identify leaks, replace fixtures, and rebuild valves.
• Supervise and adjust the building automation system for patient/staff comfort.
• Test generators, inspect systems, replace light fixtures and ceilings tiles.
• Use drawings and wiring diagrams to diagnose and repair.
• Coordinate work with vendors and contractors.
• Perform preventative maintenance on emergency power and HVAC systems.
• Conduct building and mechanical room inspections.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of maintenance duties. This is a 2nd Shift 3:30pm to 12am M-F schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting equipment sets, replacing plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, identifying and stopping leaks, rebuilding flush valves.
• Supervising and making adjustments to the building automation system for patient/staff comfort.
• Generator testing and inspections, replacing light fixtures and light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles and responding to general building issues.
• Using drawings, wiring diagrams, operations & maintenance manuals for troubleshooting, diagnosing and making repairs.
• Coordinating specialized work with vendors and contractors.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks on the emergency power system, emergency lighting, ice machines and refrigerators, HVAC equipment and other building systems as assigned.
• Conduct building and mechanical room inspections in accordance with maintenance program.
