Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of general maintenance experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to use work order systems. A valid driver’s license is required, with benefits available to associates.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a work order system to track tasks.
• Experience with drywall and flooring is preferred.
• Knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS) and generator monitoring.

• Maintains equipment and performs minor repairs using power and hand tools.
• Performs minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, lamp changes, and drywall maintenance.
• Maintains logs, performs rounds, and handles work orders, tests, and inspections.
• Reads and transmits complex instructions verbally and in writing.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of basic maintenance functions. This is a 3rd shift schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs basic maintenance duties and repairs as assigned.
• Assists in making decisions on all minor and routine repairs.
• Maintains equipment; performs minor equipment repairs using power and hand tools.
• Performs a variety of other unskilled or semi-skilled tasks such as minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, minor electrical work, lamp changing and drywall maintenance.
• Maintains logs, performs rounds and completes maintenance work orders, tests and inspections.
• Reads, comprehends and transmits complicated detailed instructions verbally and in writing.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-3 years of general building maintenance experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks using a work order system
• Experience with minor drywall and flooring
• Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Generator monitoring – remote notification system
• Text alerts and responding to generators running
• Driver’s license and clean driving record
