Job summary

Crothall Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Technician for VCU Health offsites on first shift, 7am to 3:30pm. You will perform a variety of maintenance tasks across building systems to ensure reliability and safety.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years of related maintenance experience, strong communication, and BAS familiarity. A valid driver's license is required, and experience with work order systems is preferred. Health insurance and 401(k) options provided.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related experience as a maintenance worker/technician preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to follow up on maintenance tasks.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Experience with Building Automation Systems.
• Experience with computerized work order systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting equipment sets, replacing plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, identifying and stopping leaks, rebuilding flush valves.
• Supervising and adjusting the building automation system for patient/staff comfort.
• Generator testing and inspections, replacing light fixtures/bulbs, ceiling tiles, and other issues.
• Using drawings and manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Coordinating work with vendors and contractors.
• Performing preventive maintenance on emergency power, lighting, HVAC, and other systems.
• Conduct building and mechanical room inspections per maintenance program.

Job Summary

Performs a variety of maintenance duties. This is a first shift 7am to 3:30pm M-F schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting equipment sets, replacing plumbing fixtures, rodding drains and pipes, identifying and stopping leaks, rebuilding flush valves.
• Supervising and making adjustments to the building automation system for patient/staff comfort.
• Generator testing and inspections, replacing light fixtures and light bulbs, replacing ceiling tiles and responding to general building issues.
• Using drawings, wiring diagrams, operations & maintenance manuals for troubleshooting, diagnosing and making repairs.
• Coordinating specialized work with vendors and contractors.
• Performing preventative maintenance tasks on the emergency power system, emergency lighting, ice machines and refrigerators, HVAC equipment and other building systems as assigned.
• Conduct building and mechanical room inspections in accordance with maintenance program.
