Job summary

Professional Packaging Systems (Pro Pac) is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Grand Prairie, Texas, for 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am). You will maintain form fill and seal equipment, shrink wrap tunnels, battery chargers, and related systems, ensuring high uptime and safety compliance.

The role requires strong electrical troubleshooting, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read schematics and work orders. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Five years of related maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Fluent understanding of 480V 3-phase motor systems and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical handling equipment.
• Document maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Repair machinery, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
• Read schematics and equipment manuals to guide service work.
• Maintain clean and safe work environments in compliance with OSHA.
