Position Summary

The primary focus of this role is on learning the multi-skilled maintenance trade through assignments and formal learning, with an emphasis on developing maintenance skills and abilities. This is a technical position requiring ongoing education in a trade.

  • Learn and develop skills in the multi-skilled maintenance trade
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Understand and follow safety rules and procedures

Qualifications and Skills
Must Have
  • LOTO Trained and familiar with Deviation Permit Process
  • Basic understanding of electricity (voltage, current, resistance)
  • Ability to operate a volt-ohm-millimeter (VOM) and non-contact voltage testers
  • Knowledge of electrical machine controls
  • Understanding of mechanical fasteners and their application
  • Ability to handle and apply lubricants; knowledge of lubricant properties and charts
  • Understanding hydraulic and pneumatic valve configurations and operations
  • Welding, brazing, soldering, and metal cutting skills
  • Basic blueprint reading skills
  • Mechanical fastener selection and installation skills
  • Basic machine shop skills and safety awareness
  • Ability to work in hazardous environments and conditions, including working at heights and near energized circuits
Nice-to-Have
  • Experience with heavy lifting equipment like block and tackle, chain hoists, slings, etc.
  • Additional machine shop or TPM initiative participation
Physical Requirements
  • Stand for 8 hours
  • Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs.
  • Work in various environments, including outside and confined spaces
  • Use PPE when handling hazardous waste
Compensation & Benefits

Expected earnings range from $25.45 to $31.81 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Benefits include 401(k), profit sharing, health coverage, paid time off, parental leave, and career growth opportunities.
