Description

Perricone Juices (also known as Perricone Farms), a leading citrus juice supplier located in Vero Beach, FL, is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician. Pay Rate: $25 - 30 per hour + $1 Differential

Shift / Hours: (2nd Shift) Mon – Friday @ 3 pm to 11:30 pm, with possible weekend work if needed

Summary

The Maintenance Technician may rotate through various duties including but not limited to:

• Perform scheduled PMs as per documented instructions and respond promptly to service calls
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, tools, and equipment; identify waste and suggest reduction initiatives
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance such as changing light bulbs, greasing equipment, and replacing pumps and valves on utility systems
• Assist in repairing and maintaining manufacturing machinery, equipment, structures, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Weld various metals and alloys of different sizes and thicknesses
• Maintain and repair utility systems like HVAC, compressed air, and boiler equipment
• Comply with all safety and regulatory standards including OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, GMPs, and SQF; responsible for Non-GMO SGS Supply Chain Standards

Physical Demands

The physical demands include visual acuity for operating forklifts, working under stress, frequent standing, sitting, climbing, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting objects over 50 lbs. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.

Work Environment

The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, extreme heat and cold, electrical hazards, and airborne chemicals. Noise levels are typically moderate. Reasonable accommodations can be made for disabilities.
