You will troubleshoot, plan maintenance for layout, installation, and repair, and continually learn to keep machines in good repair while contributing to a stable, large-organization career.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Interest in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, PLCs, and electrical maintenance.
• Experience in a heavy industrial setting preferred.
• Preference for experience with hand tools and precision instruments.
• Forklifts or other PITs experience preferred.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Flexible work schedule and good computer basics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production and office equipment.
• Plan maintenance procedures for layout, installation and repair.
• Keep machines running in good repair and learn new machinery continuously.
• Contribute to safety, quality and efficiency improvements.

Job Description

The Maintenance Technicianposition supports and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and strives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency in all areas of responsibility. This person will have a basic knowledge of equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot problems as they arise. The Maintenance Tech plans procedures for the layout, construction, installation and maintenance of all production and office machines/equipment. He/she will also continuously learn more about the machines to keep them running and in good repair.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Strong desire to learn different areas of maintenance, including hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, PLCs, and electrical maintenance
• Previous experience in a heavy industrial setting strongly preferred
• Previous experience with hand tools and precision instruments preferred
• Experience with forklifts or other PITs strongly preferred
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices
• Flexibility of work schedule
• Working knowledge of general computer programs
