## Maintenance Technician - 2nd ShiftApply: Texas - Palestine Feed Mill: Full time: Posted Today: 2026-69541**SHIFT DETAILS:*** **Monday-Friday 1:00pm-9:30pm*** **Pay Rate-$31.35*** **Benefits available Day One*** **On the job training****PRIMARY FUNCTION:** The Maintenance Mechanic performs preventative, maintenance, and repairs of large manufacturing equipment (hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, etc.). **RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:*** Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines, including cleaning, oiling, lubricating, changing belts machinery as necessary to ensure machines are in optimal working condition* Identify root cause of unexpected breakdowns of machines; repair quickly and efficiently to decrease downtime for machine* Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts, ordering and installing replacement parts for machines as needed* Prepare reports documenting work performed.* Clean, organize, inventory, stock, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies as needed* Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines.* Collaborate with department heads regarding new products being added and modifications that will be required* Make necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as required* Identify opportunities for improvement, present to appropriate leader, and implement, lead or participate in solution implementation* Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in all areas where mandatory helping to promote a zero-accident culture* Perform additional relevant duties as assigned **SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES:*** None.
