Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; vocational training or cert preferred.
• 5+ years of electrical, electronic, and mechanical work experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and servo drives.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic drawings.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work safely and independently while also being a team player.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems to minimize downtime.
• Use schematics and testing equipment to locate and fix issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Work with managers to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Set up new equipment, including molding machines and robots.
• Operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines.
• Maintain clean, organized maintenance shop.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Train other maintenance team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician keeps production equipment, facility systems, and office areas running safely and efficiently. This position troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical problems, performs preventive maintenance, and helps improve equipment and processes.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:15 PM
Shift: 2nd Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical problems to reduce machine downtime.
• Use technical manuals, schematics, and testing equipment to find and fix problems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
• Work with Production Managers and employees to identify and resolve equipment issues.
• Remove and replace damaged or worn machine parts.
• Help set up new equipment, including molding machines and robots.
• Operate machine tools such as lathes, grinders, drills, and milling machines.
• Repair or build machine parts, tools, fixtures, and other equipment.
• Work with automated equipment and help improve maintenance procedures.
• Train and share knowledge with other maintenance team members.
• Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Keep the maintenance shop and work areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Vocational training, technical certification, or at least 5 years of related experience in electrical, electronic, and mechanical work.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and servo drives.
• Experience with industrial automation, including:
  • Sensors
  • Conveyors
  • Pneumatic cylinders
  • HMIs
  • Electric motors
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work safely and independently while also being a team player.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

This position works in a production manufacturing warehouse. Safety equipment such as safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection may be required.

The job requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and working with machinery and tools. The position may require lifting up to 100 pounds .
