Job summary

Lasko Products in Franklin, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for 2nd shift (3:30pm–12am) to maintain and repair production machinery and facility systems. You will work with operators and engineers, follow blueprints, and contribute to continuous improvement while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of similar maintenance experience.
• Experience with production machinery and facility systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on production machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify root causes.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
• Assist in equipment changeovers, setups, and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and supervisors to improve performance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and equipment upgrades.
• Install and remove equipment for repairs or changeovers.

Job description

Lasko Products, an industry leader in the design and manufacture of portable fans and heaters for over 100 years, is looking to add a Maintenance Technician III to our light manufacturing facility in Franklin.

This will be a 2nd shift role, working the hours of 3:30pm to 12am.

The Maintenance Technician III will be responsible for the following:

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs on production machinery, equipment, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to identify root causes of equipment issues.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns on the production floor to minimize downtime.
• Assist in equipment changeovers, setups, and adjustments to support production requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records
• Collaborate with operators, engineers, and supervisors to improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, equipment upgrades, and process enhancements.
• Installing and removing screw guns, tape guns, and other equipment as needed for repair or changeovers.

Competencies and Abilities

• 2-3 years experience in similar role
• Ability to think proactively, properly follow instructions, and complete duties with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work around loud equipment.
• Must be able to work well individually and as part of a team.
• Must be mechanically adept
• Must possess basic knowledge of tools.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints or equipment manuals
