Job summary

Kingston Resorts in Myrtle Beach is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Hilton Myrtle Beach Resort on the 2nd shift, full-time. This role involves maintaining guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-the-house areas to the highest standards.

You will perform repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC and masonry, inspect spaces, and maintain preventive maintenance records. This is an EOE/AA/Vets/Disabled opportunity.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance experience as a Maintenance Technician.
• Full-time, year-round employment with a 2nd shift schedule.
• Able to perform repairs in guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-the-house areas.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs across carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspects guestrooms, public spaces, back-of-the-house and heart-of-the-house for repairs or touch-ups.
• Repairs or replaces light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware and other items.
• Supports preventive maintenance program with other department team members.
• Keeps records of repairs and highlights areas needing attention or rooms out of order.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain the physical functionality of the facility including our guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electric, painting, HVAC and masonry.
• Inspect guestrooms, public space, back-of-the-house, and heart-of-the-house for areas to repair, touch up or replace.
• Repairs, or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, grouting or other miscellaneous items.
• Assists other department team members in the systematic application of the preventive maintenance program.
• Makes records of repairs made, reports completed repairs, or places areas needing further attention or a room 'out of order.
