PTI Engineered Plastics Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for preventive maintenance and diagnosing and repairing equipment to ensure optimal performance in a manufacturing environment.

The role requires five years of manufacturing maintenance experience, forklift and crane operation, and a valid driver’s license. A strong safety record and excellent time management are essential.

Responsabilités

• Monitor machines and equipment to ensure performance per guidelines.
• Repair equipment as needed for optimal performance.
• Record daily machine checks and report trends to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain clean housekeeping during repairs.
• Initiate and recommend solutions to prevent non-conformities or unsafe conditions.

Job Purpose
Performing maintenance on the building and equipment as needed that involves preventive maintenance as well as diagnosing and repairing equipment.

• Duties:
• Monitor all machines and equipment to ensure the requirements are being met in accordance to established guidelines.
• Repair equipment as required for optimal performances.
• Record daily machine check sheets and report adverse trends or concerns to Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain clean housekeeping guidelines while repairs are being completed
• Initiate and recommend solutions to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities or unsafe conditions.
• Skills and Experience:
• Five Years of Manufacturing Maintenance
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Experience with operating forklift and crane equipment
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proven Safety Record
