Job summary

Wesco is a global leader in distribution, logistics, and supply chain solutions. This Maintenance Technician role focuses on maintaining mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and high voltage equipment, with emphasis on safety and reliability.

You’ll perform preventative maintenance, manage inventory, prepare reports, and identify root causes. The shift is Monday through Friday, 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., and Wesco offers comprehensive benefits including PTO, insurance, 401k, and discounts.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• 5 years of service and maintenance of electric machinery.
• 2 years of facility repair and maintenance experience.
• 2 years of handling high voltage test equipment; 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on facility equipment, including high voltage test equipment and systems.
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventory by checking stock to determine appropriate inventory levels.
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports.
• Record and process findings of maintenance duties on maintenance log.
• Identify root cause of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations.

A Day in The Life of a Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and a repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facilities mechanical and electrical systems.

• Perform maintenance on facility equipment, including high voltage test equipment and systems
• Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventory by checking stock to determine appropriate inventory levels
• Prepare mechanical maintenance reports
• Record and process findings of maintenance duties on maintenance log

Education & Experience
