Job summary

Wesco is seeking a Maintenance Technician in the United States to perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and accurate logging of findings.

You will maintain inventory, read blueprints, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods while ensuring safety and reliability across our operations.

Qualifications

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • 5 years of service and maintenance of electric machinery.
  • 2 years of facility repair and maintenance experience.
  • 2 years handling high voltage test equipment; 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance on facility equipment, including high voltage test equipment and systems.
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventory by checking stock to determine appropriate inventory levels.
  • Prepare mechanical maintenance reports.
  • Record and process findings of maintenance duties on maintenance log.
  • Identify root cause of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations.

A Day in The Life of a Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and a repair of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and other physical structures. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facilities mechanical and electrical systems.

  • Perform maintenance on facility equipment, including high voltage test equipment and systems
  • Maintain equipment, parts, and supply inventory by checking stock to determine appropriate inventory levels
  • Prepare mechanical maintenance reports
  • Record and process findings of maintenance duties on maintenance log
  • Identify root cause of problems by observing mechanical devices in operations

Education & Experience

Compensation Details: $23.10 - $28.88 Per Hour

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
