JOB SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician provides clerical and systems support to the department. Develops predictive and preventive maintenance (PM) schedules and analyzes data using tracking systems to support continuous improvement opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – includes the following:

1. Follow all plant safety policies and procedures.
2. Knowledge of A/C-D/C motors and controls.
3. Experience with hydraulic and mechanical applications is required.
4. Strong background in troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of manufacturing equipment.
5. Implement and improve continuous improvement and lean manufacturing processes.
6. Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
7. Maintain safety devices such as light curtains, safety gates, and barriers.
8. Design and install new or improved manufacturing equipment, components, and processes.
9. Modify existing equipment as required.
10. Monitor spare parts needs to enhance processes.
11. Perform PM inspections and complete necessary repairs.
12. Minimize downtime through effective resource management, including response time, technical expertise, tools, spare parts, and external contacts.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.
