Job summary

Pratt Industries in Hebron Estates, KY is hiring a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. You will help minimize downtime and keep systems running at peak reliability.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or technical training, with 3+ years in industrial maintenance preferred. Strong reading of schematics, safe tool use, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical training.
  • Technical training or applicable experience in industrial maintenance or a skilled trade.
  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment
  • Respond to equipment failures quickly to minimize downtime
  • Install, maintain, and modify machinery and support systems as needed
  • Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately and timely
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas
  • Support equipment reliability and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Work collaboratively with production personnel and other departments
  • Perform overtime and additional duties as required

Starting Pay: From $28.00+ per hour based on experience
  • Benefits begin 1st day of the month following start

Schedule
  • Monday to Friday
  • Daily or Weekend OT as required
Education/Experience
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent technical training

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Work safely at all times and comply with company safety policies and OSHA requirements
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Language Skills

Ability to read, understand, and follow safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance manuals, procedures, work orders, and technical documentation. Ability to communicate effectively and complete routine reports and correspondence.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to read and accurately use tape measures, calipers, feeler gauges, and other measuring devices. Ability to perform calculations involving measurements, percentages, dimensions, volume, and rates using high school-level mathematics.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or graphical instructions. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment and system issues involving multiple variables in a manufacturing environment.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

May be required to obtain and maintain a current Lift Truck Operator License and other applicable certifications.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift, carry, and hold 50+ pounds. Ability to stand, sit, kneel, squat, and climb ladders for extended periods. Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments that may be dusty, dirty, greasy, or wet. Ability to work overtime and extended shifts as needed.

Work Environment

Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, noise, dust, humidity, vibration, and varying environmental conditions. Appropriate PPE is required.
