Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift Opportunity

We currently have an opening for a Maintenance Technician at Avancez-Flint

2nd Shift Schedule - 1:30 PM - 11PM

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Support Manufacturing Engineer & Maintenance Team
• Build, design, assemble, and debug production equipment
• Timely completion of documents relating to maintenance including: Engineering Change, Operator Instructions, Previous Station Checks, Preventative Maintenance.
• Maintaining the mechanical and electrical components on production systems, build, machine, and debug.
• Performing preventative maintenance. Mechanical, and Electrical
• Troubleshooting automated electrical systems.
• Safety conscious

• Self-Motivated
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook)
• Ability to cover other shifts and weekends as needed
• Ability to work overtime

Qualifications and Experience

• Ability To Read And Interpret Blueprints And Electrical Schematics
• Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Control system experience is a plus
• Electrical experience in machine, and plant wiring.
• Electrical systems installation to 480 VAC
• Mechanical repair experience
• Five Years Experience In Machine assembly, Manufacturing and Equipment Maintenance
• Experience in Programming PLC’s, Dedicated Micro Processor Based Systems
• Pneumatic systems maintenance
• Operation of Tool Room Equipment (I.E. Lathes, Grinders, Welding & Fabricating, Bridgeport Drill Press Etc.). CNC programming preferred.
