Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift 3:00PM-1:00AM)

Responsibilities

This non-supervisory position in Delavan, Wisconsin, oversees the performance and maintenance of production machinery to drive profitability and organizational objectives. Under the guidance of the Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor, responsibilities include:

• Assembling, cleaning, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machines and equipment.
• Ensuring operation of machinery by completing scheduled, unscheduled/emergency, and routine preventative maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, hydraulic, and other production machines, following diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
• Using root cause analysis to identify problems with machines/equipment through inspections and listening for irregular noises.
• Maintaining inspection, servicing, and testing schedules, and preparing maintenance reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of related manufacturing experience, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems knowledge.
• Fluent in English with working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of manufacturing maintenance principles, local building codes, safety, and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to attain forklift licensure.
• Ability to build positive team relationships and work in a fast-paced environment.
