Job Summary

A manufacturing facility in Clifton, NJ is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Technician to join its team on the second shift. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience maintaining and repairing foundry equipment such as wax press machines, pouring pots, autoclaves, and wash-out cabinets. This role requires the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and ensure machinery operates at peak performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment, including wax presses, autoclaves, pouring pots, and wash-out systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues quickly and effectively.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and conduct emergency repairs during second-shift hours.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and parts used.
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.
• Manage parts inventory and ensure essential tools and components are available.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience, ideally in a foundry or manufacturing environment.
