Job summary

Tasus Corporation in Bloomington is seeking a maintenance technician to service manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems used in production.

You will read schematics, repair mold machines and robots, service PLCs, air compressors, and other related equipment, while following safety rules.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, relevant technical training, and experience with plastic injection molding is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a 2-year college is a plus.
• Technical school/training or equivalent certifications preferred.
• Plastic injection molding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment.
• Perform maintenance on molding machines, robots, PLCs, air compressors.
• Read blueprints and schematics to determine repair methods.
• Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand or power tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs.
• Observe and practice all safety regulations.

• This position will troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair malfunctioning electrical and hydraulic equipment used in the manufacturing process to keep everything in a production status.

Duties and responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Complete assigned procedures on mold machines, robots, programmable logic controller, air compressors and other electrical and mechanical equipment in the facility
• Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and technical orders to determine methods of repair, using a variety of testing instruments
• Align, fit, or assemble component parts using hand or power tools
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs
• Observe and practice all safety regulations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Associates Degree or equivalent from a 2 year college a plus
• Technical school/Training or equivalent on the job certifications
• Plastic Injection Molding experience a plus
