Job summary

Carfair Composites Inc. is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role focuses on keeping production equipment running efficiently and safely through scheduled maintenance and prompt repairs.

You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and document activities in the maintenance system. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, strong hands-on skills with tools and diagnostic equipment, and an ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts and supplies for repairs.
• Document maintenance activities and repairs in the maintenance management system.
• Collaborate with production personnel to minimize downtime during repairs.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes.
• Train and mentor junior staff as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends as necessary.
