Magna International Inc. in Michigan is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep our manufacturing equipment operating at peak performance. Join Magna Exteriors, a global leader delivering exterior automotive components.

You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and fabricate parts when needed. Night shift schedule and nicotine-free facility.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in a technical field preferred
• Relevant hands-on experience may substitute for education
• Pursuing related degree may be considered

What You’ll Be Doing

• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment issues
• Working on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Performing preventative and predictive maintenance

• Fabricating and welding equipment when needed
• Using hand tools and diagnostic equipment to get the job done right

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanically inclined
• Comfortable troubleshooting equipment issues
• Experienced with electrical or mechanical repairs
• Ready to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Dependable, motivated, and eager to learn
• Automotive manufacturing experience is a bonus!
