Job summary

ABB Athens Plant Maintenance Team is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and facilities. You will read technical diagrams, interpret instructions, and work safely in an industrial environment.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year maintenance experience (or certification), and a willingness to work shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; basic computer skills as defined by the company.
• 1+ years of maintenance experience and/or certification.
• Technical school training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and facilities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other internal documentation.
• Respond to plant emergencies/breakdowns.
• Daily reporting to your supervisor and/or team.
• Function safely in an industrial manufacturing setting with shift and weekend work as required.
