Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Pay: $34–$40/hour
Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift
Position Overview:
We are hiring experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join the team of a leading manufacturer in the Minneapolis, MN area. This is a great opportunity to work with a stable company offering excellent benefits, career growth opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on a wide range of production machinery and equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Diagnose and repair issues related to 460V wiring systems.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
Work with Allen Bradley PLCs for troubleshooting and minor programming adjustments.
Maintain, install, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
Safely utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
Ensure maintenance documentation and work orders are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
Collaborate with production teams and management to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a large manufacturing plant environment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs (Allen Bradley ), VFDs, and 460V wiring.
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Diploma or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, or a related field .
Strong commitment to safety and maintaining a clean, organized work area.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
