Job summary

Sauer Brands, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support production on 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will respond to equipment requests, troubleshoot malfunctions, perform preventative maintenance, and improve equipment reliability across mechanical and electrical systems.

The role requires hands-on fabrication, setup of machine tools, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A team-oriented, safety-conscious mindset with strong documentation skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience performing mechanical and electrical repair on heavy equipment.
• Ability to conduct preventative maintenance and predictive tasks.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and blueprints.
• Comfort with welding and fabrication as needed.

Responsibilities

• Determine causes of equipment malfunctions and restore operation.
• Carry out preventative/Predictive maintenance tasks.
• Modify production equipment to improve efficiency.
• Move/install equipment to meet production needs.
• Set up and operate machine tools.
• Fabricate sheet metal components using welding.
• Follow instructions from drawings and blueprints.
