Job summary

Berkshire Residential Investments is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of our communities in Houston. You will be responsible for preserving the property's physical attributes and ensuring high standards of service to residents.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of community maintenance experience, strong knowledge of home systems, and proficiency with computers. This role requires a hands-on, multi-trades approach and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of maintenance experience in a community setting.
• Knowledge of appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and building maintenance.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English.
• Proficient with computers and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Own and help drive preservation of the property's physical attributes.
• Support management in upholding community and corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure safety measures are enforced.
• Assist in maintaining shop, equipment, inventory, and security.
• Be an inspector to maintain curb appeal and property look.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Own and help drive the preservation of the property's physical attributes
• Provide complete support to management in upholding community and corporate standards, policies and procedures
• Ensure that all safety measures are enforced
• Assist in maintaining the shop, company equipment, inventory control and ensuring key security
• Be an inspector! Curb appeal is imperative, make sure the property looks its best
• Provide excellent customer service to all prospective and existing residents and your teammates

Qualifications
