Job summary

GL Partners Management (GLPM) is seeking a Service Technician to support the maintenance operations at a Cortez Hill multifamily community in San Diego.

As a Service Technician, you will perform timely service requests, preventative maintenance, unit turns, and general property upkeep while addressing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs. The role emphasizes resident service, safety, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, construction, or multifamily settings.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general maintenance systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• HVAC certification or related technical certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests and repairs in a timely, professional manner.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC, and general maintenance issues.
• Assist with apartment turns, inspections, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas to high standards.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company policies.

The Role

As Service Technician, you will support the maintenance operations of the community through timely service requests, preventative maintenance, unit turns, and general property upkeep.

You will:

• Complete service requests and repairs in a timely, professional manner
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, appliance, HVAC, and general maintenance issues
• Assist with apartment turns, inspections, and preventative maintenance programs
• Maintain community grounds, amenities, and common areas to high standards
• Support inventory organization, shop cleanliness, and operational efficiency
• Deliver excellent resident service through clear communication and professionalism
• Follow all OSHA safety standards and company policies

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• HVAC certification or related technical certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license required
