Job summary
Steel Technologies LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician on 1st shift (4:30am–3:00pm, Mon–Fri, with possible weekends) in Huger, SC. Base pay ranges from $25 to $32 per hour, depending on experience.
Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and reducing downtime while ensuring safety and quality. Benefits include medical/dental/vision after 60 days, a wellness program, disability, life insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO
Qualifications
- Mechatronics certificate is strongly desired but not required
- Experience performing preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance on plant machinery
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
- Proficiency with CMMS data entry and Excel for work orders
- Ability to interpret blueprints and fabricate parts as needed
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on all plant machinery
- Carry out the preventative maintenance program for the plant
- Identify safety concerns and address them with supervision
- Minimize downtime by reviewing equipment operation and solving issues
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; fill out work orders accurately
