Job summary

Drake Enterprises, Inc. in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Class A (1st Shift) to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.

You will read blueprints and manuals, perform preventive maintenance, document work orders, and mentor junior technicians.

This is a non-exempt, full-time role on the 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. shift requiring strong problem-solving skills and safety awareness in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Maintenance tech certification or equivalent preferred.
• Machining experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair production and facility equipment.
• Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble machinery and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and parts used.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
