Job summary

Heartland Farms, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Hancock, WI. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing plant machinery, reading mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics, and performing light fabrication tasks as needed.

The ideal candidate has experience with automation, PLCs, I/O, and HMI interfaces, plus welding skills (ARC, MIG, TIG) and a valid driver’s license. This on-site position requires teamwork and safety‑conscious work habits.

Qualifications

• Must be able to set up, install, repair and maintain plant machinery and equipment.
• Strong ability to read mechanical drawings, hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Experience with automation, PLCs I/O, HMI interface, and Ethernet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair and troubleshoot plant machinery and equipment.
• Use work order system to initiate and track repairs.
• Weld, cut and grind metals for repair and light fabrication.
