Job summary

Hayden Valley Foods, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Maintenance professional for our Kentucky facility. This role involves upkeep and maintenance of equipment, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and performing routine repairs to conveyors, gear boxes, drives, and building systems.

Candidates should have prior industrial maintenance experience. The 1st shift runs from 5:45 am to 2:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays possible.

Qualifications

• Previous Industrial Maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform upkeep and maintenance on equipment and machines in the facility.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
• Analyze causes of equipment loss and suggest improvements.
• Perform routine plumbing and electrical repairs as needed.
• Repair belted conveyors, gear boxes, drives, drywall, painting, and flooring.

Job description

Summary:

Responsible for the upkeep and maintenance on equipment and machines within the facility. Duties may include:

• Execute maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment breakdowns involving mechanical and electrical aspects of machinery
• Analyze causes of equipment technical loss, and make or suggest improvements
• Perform routine plumbing, electrical repairs, and replace chains
• Conduct repairs to belted conveyors, gear boxes, drives, drywall, painting, and flooring
• Facility Building maintenance

Exposed to all areas of the food production plant, including lower & higher levels of the building, dust, airborne particles, loud noises & vibrations, with the possibility of food allergens being present. Heavy labor position.

Physical Demands of Position:

Employee is regularly required to stand, kneel, lift, lean, carry, sit, climb, stoop and walk in the duration of the work shift. Required to lift up to 50 pounds constantly, and occasional lifting over 80 pounds.

Must be able to meet high physical demanding requirements.

Candidate Qualifications:

Previous Industrial Maintenance experience required.

1st shift hours are: 5:45 am to 2 pm (Monday - Friday), some Saturdays may be required.
