Job summary

Generac Power Systems in Wisconsin seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform HVAC emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance, along with general facilities tasks. The role involves equipment testing, problem solving, and supporting facilities operations on a 1st shift (Mon-Fri 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) at multiple Wisconsin locations.

Responsibilities include inspections, PMs, fit-out tasks, and light moving/cleaning activities.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience building/facilities maintenance, maintaining industrial equipment, automation or product repair.

• HVAC equipment inspections/PMs, filter changes, belt changes; most other work outsourced.
• Water testing – will train on procedure.

• Snow removal.
• Grass cutting, trimming, and cleanup.
• Landscaping.
• Parking lot cleaning.
• Painting including cleaning and prepping.

The Maintenance Technician is expected to perform HVAC emergency, routine, and preventive maintenance including changing filters and belts while maintaining safety, communicating effectively, and training employees. Responsible for equipment testing, daily problem solving, preventive maintenance, quick fix and repairs, fill in for facilities personnel, moving office or conference room furniture, rooftop units, overhead doors, and assisting other facilities maintenance functions as needed.
