Job summary

Smithfield Foods in Grayson, KY is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Technician to support our production lines. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment across electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing, welding and refrigeration systems.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, ability to read and follow instructions, and reliable attendance. You must be willing to complete maintenance level 4 training as part of the MTP program; on-site work with exposure to

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Good mechanical skills including but not limited to repair of gearboxes, bearings, etc.
• Ability to read and write and comprehend written instructions.

• Ability to maintain plant drains and pipes Satisfactory work record Experience in industrial equipment maintenance
• Ability to perform all tasks as assigned.
• Candidates must be willing and able to complete maintenance level 4 training in accordance with the MTP program.
