Job summary

Aerotek in Reading, PA is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st-3rd shifts. You'll perform industrial maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, run preventative maintenance on production lines, and troubleshoot outages to keep operations running smoothly.

This permanent, onsite role offers pay from $32.00 to $42.00 per hour, overtime opportunities, and a benefits package including medical, vision, 401(k), and more.

Qualifications

• Experience with industrial electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical systems and hydraulics/pneumatics.
• Experience performing preventative maintenance on production lines.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial maintenance on mechanical and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Carry out preventative maintenance on the assigned production line.
• Troubleshoot and repair the line during outages.
• Assist teammates during outages on other lines.
• Troubleshoot and repair material handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, sideloaders).
• Maintain an adequate parts and supply inventory for maintenance.
• Inspect equipment for proper operation and quality issues.

2nd shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm Monday - Friday

3rd shift: 11pm - 7:30am Sunday - Thursday

Pay Range: $32 - $42/hour

Areas of Responsibility

• Industrial maintenance on both mechanical and high-voltage electrical systems
• Perform preventative maintenance on the assigned production line
• Troubleshoot and repair the assigned production line as outages occur
• Assist other team members in the event of an outage on another production line
• Troubleshoot and repair material moving equipment, such as cranes, forklifts, and sideloaders
• Maintain an adequate supply of parts, supplies, and materials needed for maintenance
• Inspect various equipment throughout the facility, checking for faulty operations, defective materials, or quality issues
