Maintenance Technician (1st Shift 5:00AM - 3:00PM)

Responsibilities

This non-supervisory position, located in Delavan, Wisconsin, oversees the performance and maintenance of production machinery to drive profitability and organizational goals. Under the guidance of the Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor, responsibilities include:

• Performing duties to assemble, clean, install, maintain, and troubleshoot production machines and equipment.
• Troubleshooting to ensure operation of machinery by completing scheduled and emergency maintenance on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and hydraulic equipment, using diagrams, manuals, and specifications.
• Using root cause analysis to identify issues in inoperative machines by observing, listening, and inspecting with precision instruments.
• Maintaining inspection and servicing schedules, and preparing maintenance reports based on collected data and trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED with at least 2 years of related manufacturing experience, including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems knowledge. Proficiency in English and MS Office required.
• Knowledge of manufacturing maintenance processes, safety regulations, OSHA requirements, and local building codes.
• Ability to attain forklift licensure.
• Ability to build positive team relationships, work in a fast-paced environment, and apply continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN).
