Job summary

ChampionX, now part of SLB, is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Crowley, TX facility on a 4‑day, 10‑hour shift (5:30 AM – 4:15 PM). You will install, troubleshoot and maintain production equipment to support safety and reliability.

The role requires experience with electrical and mechanical repairs, CNC machinery, hydraulics and PLCs, plus ability to read schematics, operate CMMS and collaborate with teams to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in manufacturing
• 3 years of electrical and mechanical repairs and troubleshooting of industrial equipment including CNC machines (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan)
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams
• Good computer skills with MS Word, Outlook, and CMMS
• Excellent organizational, verbal, written communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task and work overtime as needed

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance during machine service
• Maintain CNC and other manufacturing equipment including pneumatic, hydraulic systems, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, motors and PLCs
• Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance using CMMS and execute work orders
• Analyze breakdowns for root causes and implement preventive solutions
• Support spare parts inventory and lean activities; ensure safety program compliance
