ChampionX in Crowley, TX is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment in a safety‑driven environment. The role requires strong electrical and mechanical expertise, experience with CNC machinery, and CMMS usage to meet plant goals while supporting lean initiatives and continuous improvement.

Overtime and weekend work may be necessary for outages and urgent repairs.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical and mechanical repairs and troubleshooting of industrial equipment including CNC machines (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan).
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, machine controls and PLC controllers.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams.
• Good computer skills with CMMS software.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, written, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Safety-focused mindset with continual process improvement.

Responsabilidades

• Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the plant’s goals.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs during machine service.
• Utilize electrical and mechanical skill sets to maintain CNC and other manufacturing equipment (pneumatic, hydraulic, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, motors, wiring, PLCs).
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on CNC machines and equipment and ensure timely completion using CMMS.
• Execute regular work orders assigned by CMMS.
• Analyze breakdowns for root causes and identify solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Assist with spare parts inventory to minimize downtime and reduce costs.
• Ensure safety program compliance while performing work.
• Support lean activities within Manufacturing Services and across the organization.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Position Details:

• 4 day -10hr shift Monday - Thursday, 5:30AM – 4:15PM

What You Will Do:

• Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the plant’s business goals and objectives.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
• Utilize electrical and mechanical skill sets to maintain CNC and other manufacturing equipment involving, but not limited to, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, motors/motor controls, wiring/circuits, and PLCs (basics).
• Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance on CNC machines and equipment and ensure timely completion using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Execute regular work orders assigned by Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Analyze breakdowns for possible root causes and identify solutions to prevent in the future
• Actively support spare parts inventory minimizing downtime while reducing costs
• Ensure compliance of safety program while performing work
• Support lean activities both within the Manufacturing Services department and across the organization
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
• 3 years of experience in electrical and mechanical repairs and troubleshooting of industrial equipment including CNC machines (Mazak, Okuma, Doosan)
• Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, machine controls and PLC controllers.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams.
• Good computer skills with experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and CMMS software.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, written, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Solid working knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with strong work ethic.
• Commitment to work overtime as needed (e.g. last-minute repairs, weekends).
• Maintain appropriate levels of daily attendance, initiative and productivity.
• Driven, self-starter and dedicated to safety, quality, and continual process improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Electrical / mechanical knowledge of Okuma, Mazak, and Doosan CNCs. (2, 3 and 5 axis)
• Technical/ Vocational School
• PLC programming experience
• Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry
