Qualifications

• Knowledge and skilled in standard measurement techniques (calipers, gauges, micrometers, meters).
• Attention to detail and time management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete reports.
• Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) in English.

Responsibilities

• Execute incoming, in-process and final inspections on assemblies and components per specs and drawings.
• Complete inspection reports and ensure information is recorded accurately.
• Follow all safety policies and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities and propose solutions for continuous improvement.
• Attend work regularly and be punctual.
• Identify defects and approve or reject items.
• Check product compliance with identified standards and requirements.
• Identify ongoing quality issues and prevent production issues.
• Maintain quality records as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do:

• Execute incoming, in-process and final inspections on assemblies and individual components per specifications, and drawings
• Complete inspection reports, related paperwork, and ensure all information is recorded accurately
• Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements
• Identify opportunities and propose solutions for continuous improvement
• Regularly and predictably attend work and be punctual
• Identifying defects in parts, approving or rejecting items
• Checking if products are in compliance with company or engineering identified standards and requirements
• Identify ongoing quality issues and prevent potential production issues and make suggestions for improvement
• Maintain quality records as needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School education or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing and/or quality environment
• One year hands on inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge and skilled in the use of standard measurement techniques commonly used in a manufacturing shop, i.e. calipers, scales, gauges, micrometers, meters
• Attention to detail
• Time management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports
• Ability to communicate (read, write, and speak) in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) equipment
• Machine shop inspection experience
• CMM and Visual Inspection systems to check component compliance
