Job summary

Generac Power Systems Inc in Waukesha, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician for 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. You will perform HVAC emergency, routine and preventive maintenance, test equipment, and assist with various facilities tasks to keep a safe, efficient environment.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and 3–5 years of facilities maintenance or industrial equipment experience. Training on water testing and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related maintenance experience.
• 3–5 years building/facilities maintenance or industrial equipment experience.
• Experience in automation or product repair is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC emergency, routine and preventive maintenance, including filters and belts.
• Test equipment, troubleshoot problems and perform quick fixes and repairs.
• Move office furniture, rooftop units, and assist other facilities tasks as needed.
• Paint, wallpaper repair, bathroom fixtures and basic facility repairs.
• Water testing training and procedures, plus facility cleaning and trash/recycle management.
• Snow removal, grass trimming, landscaping, parking lot cleaning, and general site upkeep.
