Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Run conduit, install cables, and troubleshoot network cabling (CAT 5).

Job Summary

Responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs on facility/production equipment and property structures, in addition to performing grounds maintenance. All work will be done in compliance with EPA, OSHA, and other safety rules and regulations.

Essential Functions

• Install and troubleshoot electrical motors, motor controls, up to 480V systems, compressors.
• PLC Program Troubleshooting.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
• Read and understand electrical and other mechanical diagrams.
• Run conduit and troubleshoot network cable (CAT 5).
• Log and track inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Perform skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Diagnose production equipment problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facility.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, aerial lifts, and material handling equipment.

Job Related Functions

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Coach and train production personnel on maintenance-related topics.
• Assure the safety of facility employees through compliance with all state and federal OSHA and EPA laws and regulations.
• Responsible for Kaizen and 5S of the plant in general.

Educational Requirements
