EQVAL Group, Inc. in Puerto Rico is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain and support manufacturing equipment and execute preventive maintenance (PM) to lathes, freezers, furnaces, and related systems.

This on-site role requires strong hands-on experience and attention to safety. You will manage work orders in the CMMS (Maximo, SAP, Oracle), perform troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components, and collaborate with teams to minimize

Qualifications

• Associate or Technical Degree completed from a technical college or institution.
• Available to work 12 hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Bilingual English/Spanish, both spoken and written.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (Medical Devices, Pharma, Biotech).
• Knowledge of CMMS such as Maximo, SAP, Oracle.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform troubleshooting and complete repairs to keep manufacturing equipment running efficiently (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronic).
• Minimize downtime and maximize capacity for use.
• Visually inspect and test machinery to detect malfunctions and diagnose problems.
• Support CMMS work orders and preventative maintenance procedures to ensure accurate inventory control.
• Assist with equipment qualifications, process validations, and equipment transfers.
• Conduct effective shift handoffs between technicians and supervisors to communicate status and priorities.
