Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment and facility systems for safe, efficient plant operations. You’ll work with production, quality, and maintenance teams on preventive and corrective tasks across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC-controlled systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years in manufacturing/technical schooling preferred.
• 1-4 years in industrial manufacturing or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Proficient with Office 365, JDE, Coast.
• Read/write English; able to read schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC equipment.
• Maintain plant equipment and facilities, ensuring safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Install, modify, repair, and relocate equipment; document repairs and maintenance.
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with LOTO and GMP requirements.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and work orders to perform services.
