Job Title: Maintenance Technician – Facilities Management

Employment Type: Full-Time (Hourly paid)

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to support a 350-acre campus on the southeast side of town, with scheduled cross-training at our downtown location. This primarily stationary role involves maintaining the integrity and functionality of building systems, both interior and exterior, including critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Conduct daily rounds and interpret system readings to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate and oversee vendor work and service contractors.
• Execute general repairs and adjustments to lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Respond to demand repairs and tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proven general maintenance experience in commercial building operations.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs , work from ladders, and perform tasks overhead.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions .
• Willingness to participate in on-call, after-hours, and weekend rotations .
  
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated track record of excellence in facilities maintenance.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems with the ability to perform adjustments and repairs.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
  
  

Work Environment:

This role involves physical activity, including lifting, climbing, and exposure to outdoor elements. The technician must be able to detect changes in equipment sounds and identify odors such as smoke or chemicals.
