Job summary

King & Prince Seafood is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the third shift to ensure the safe, reliable operation of our food processing and packaging equipment in a fast-paced facility.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, document tasks in CMMS, and uphold safety, quality, SOP and HACCP standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–3 years industrial maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs intermittently.
• Shift: third shift, 10:00pm–6:00am.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems on plant equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation through CMMS.
• Adhere to safety, quality, SOP and HACCP guidelines.

Description

The third shift Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of food processing and packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires a high level of performance, strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, and a sense of urgency when inspecting, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing production equipment. The technician plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, supporting production goals, and maintaining food safety, quality, and operational standards through preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operates at level of apprentice with sense of urgency to learn all plant processing/packaging equipment issues.


• Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics on plant processing/packaging equipment.


• Maintains proper documentation through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).


• Complies with company safety, quality, standard operating procedures (SOP) and HACCP guidelines.

• Minimum High School diploma

• Good industrial electrical knowledge.


• Good knowledge of the proper use of the tools of the trade
